Nuremberg is in the German state of Bavaria. The city has completely grown together with Fürth, and with Erlangen, these three cities form a triangular metropolitan area: Metropol region Nuremberg. Nuremberg was practically completely destroyed during World War II, but when rebuilding attempts were made to recreate the city's structure from the Middle Ages. The city is most known for the Nuremberg Trials. The city has grown to become a big centre for toys with annual trade fairs for railway modelling etc.
