The capital of Poland has close to 2 million inhabitants and is not as small as it looks on the map. The city was completely ruined during World War II, but was rebuilt in the years after. The old town is very beautiful and the choice of nice bars and restaurants is huge. There are also a number of nice gay places that are open until the morning. The rainbow flag is not always on display outside gay places in Warsaw as it's still a bit risky to be openly gay. Bring the information from this guide with you so you don't end up in the wrong places. Europride 2010 will be held in Warsaw.
