Cádiz is a port city in the region of Andalucia, Spain. It's one of the world's oldest coastal towns, built around 1100 B.C. by the Fenicians. It has an old town, inside the city walls, with narrow alleyways, several flowery parks, two long wide beaches, and the newer part of the city with wide avenues. The gay/LGBT scene is quite widespread but unpredictable. Bars open and close constantly. They are often located near the trainstation, the ferry terminal or in the alleys in the old town. Mostly, they open around midnight and are mostly closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
