Long Beach is part of the metropolitan area of Los Angeles. As the name indicates, it's a part of Los Angeles that is close to the beach. The port is one of the largest in the world, hence an importand source of income for the city. Long Beach is also known for airplane manufacturer Boeing that has part of its manufacturing located here.
In Long Beach RMS Queen Mary is permanently anchored, built in Art Deco style in 1936yggd i Art Deco-stil 1936, functioning as a hotel and a museum. You can also visit the Modern Museum and the Latin American Museum.
