Millesgården will be transformed into a cathedral and a winding hall of mirrors dedicated to the power of the female and queer star in the new exhibition IN EXTACY! The Swedish Diva. Curated by actor and drag artist Robert Fux, known from Stockholm’s Stadsteater and Drag Race Sweden, the exhibition features original costumes, unique artifacts, and personal stories from around 60 Swedish divas. These icons hail from the realms of opera, revue, and theater to the glamour of film and showbiz. Fux delves into the construction of the diva persona and the dynamic between worshiping and being worshiped. Through spectacular installations, the exhibition examines and celebrates the Swedish diva’s power to shine, inspire, and transform.
