Money on the Wall focuses on one of the artist’s most recurring themes: money. In the exhibition, visitors get a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Warhol’s artistry and its connection to economics and society. Money on the Wall also places Warhol in the context of artists who work with similar themes – from Warhol’s time to today.

In connection with the exhibition, Spritmuseum has the great pleasure of exhibiting the rediscovered artwork Absolut Warhol (The Blue Version) for the very first time. The painting, one of two versions commissioned in 1985 by Absolut Vodka, was forgotten and finally rediscovered 30 years later. Since 2020, the artwork is reincorporated with the Absolut Art Collection.
