Düsseldorf is the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. The city is located on the east side of river Rhine. It's known for its industry, its carnival and for its trade fairs. It's also known for its Altbier, a dark beer only brewed in the Düsseldorf area. In the old town, Altstadt, the beer halls are side by side, and is said to be the longest bar counter in the world.
