It is said that Leonardo da Vinci woke up curious every morning he lived in Florence. This is understandable. Florence is a city for art lovers and those who enjoy life. Being in Florence feels like walking around in a movie. Many movies have also been filmed her, such as "A room with a view" and ”Hannibal/ Red Dragon”. In Florence the food is divine, in simple restaurants with big hams hanging from the ceiling, or in elegant seclusion in one of the city’s more exclusive restaurants with the noble families of Florence. Florence is the capital of Tuscany, it’s a craft city from the Middle Ages, where the district you live in is more important than the country. Every house seems to have a story and every palace inhabited by the elegant aristocracy. The climate is warm and comfortable and by Easter all the outdoor cafes are open. One way to get to know the city is to visit the different beautiful squares in the city centre, for a coffee or a glass of nice local wine. The art in Florence seems unlimited to visitors and the Florentine crafts have a unique tradition since the Renaissance. There are a few gay bars/saunas that often change addresses. There are also gay hotels and gay sightseeing.
