Sydney is the capital of the state New South Wales. The central area around Oxford Street is where the Mardi Gras parade passes and here you find numerous gay bars, saunas and clubs. New Town and Erskineville are other gay areas in the city. Naturally, as a tourist you will wander down to the harbour, see the fantastic Opera House and take the bus to till Bondi Beach. Spend a day travelling to the areas around the city. Blue Mountain offers exciting nature and spectacular views.
