One of the things the Swedes are most proud of is nature and the country's right of common - the right for everybody to responsibly, wander pretty much everywhere in the country. Sweden is possibly mostly famous for having lived in peace for several hundred years, the equality between men and women is high on the agenda, that this is the home of ABBA, and that all Nobel prizes, apart from the peace prize, are awarded here. Hardly any laws discriminate against gays. Stockholm Pride is celebrated in the beginning of August every year and Pride festivals are hosted in several other cities and towns around the country.
